ttopstart is a proud partner in the Immune-Image consortium from the beginning of the project. We talked to Prof. Bert Windhorst (Amsterdam UMC), project coordinator of the Immune-Image project, about the first year of the Immune-Image project and how he got involved in the project.
”Funnily, also this project found roots around the coffee machine at a (not virtual) scientific conference. ttopstart had approached me about the IMI call. At first, I was a bit sceptic about it and would not think we would make a chance. But after discussing it at a ECMI symposium with some peers in the field – such as Immune-Image WP6 leader Elisabeth de Vries who happened to give a lecture on imaging of immunotherapy – things started to roll.”

“We have been actively involved in communication and dissemination of the activities and ongoing processes within the consortium. We are also engaged in reaching out to communities outside the consortium to ensure sustainability and long-term impact of the project, well beyond its lifetime. It’s been a successfully year of collaboration and we look forward to more milestones in the coming years of Immune-Image! “
