Internal and external engagement are crucial to help increase the impact of your (scientific) project.
Bringing your research plans and results to the attention of the right audiences will ensure that your efforts have long-lasting impact and will enable implementation of your results in general practice once the project has been finalized. The audience can be the general public, scientific researchers, investors, patient organisations, health technology assessment (HTA) experts, industry, clinicians or policy makers. Communicating to the right audience will also ensure the sustainability of your group, existing partnerships and give rise to new, fruitful collaborations.
What we do
There is no one-size-fits-all approach and the activities will vary depending on your project. Prior to starting your project, we can help to identify and analyze the right stakeholders and to evaluate their needs. Following the stakeholder analysis we can work together on a strategic plan so that all stakeholders are engaged and/or informed. The tools we offer related to this service include:
- Stakeholder engagement
- Strategic communication plan
- Regular evaluation of C&D plan
- Execution of C&D activities and project sustainability
“There is a lot of competition in the funding landscape, but once your project has been selected by the funding agency you are not there yet. There is a lot of work needed, in addition to scientific excellence, to ensure your project will achieve the promised impact.”
