As a consultant at ttopstart I support clients to write a winning proposal by combining my experience as a researcher with my enthusiasm for life & health science innovations. When working with clients I make sure to fully understand their ideas to be able to help each client individually.
I studied biotechnology at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany and the Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden and have a degree in Medical Biotechnology. I came to the Netherlands for my internship at the Leiden University Medical Center, where I studied the influence of the microbiota on the formation of colon cancer.
Driven by my passion for science I stayed in the Netherlands to do my PhD research at the Amsterdam University Medical Center. Here I studied how epigenetic programs regulate the cardiac myocyte response after myocardial infarction.
Having an academic background, I know that writing a successful grant application is getting more and more difficult for scientists. It can be especially challenging and time consuming to understand the requirements of all the different funding programmes. In collaboration with the researchers, I help them putting together a winning proposal.
