Junior Consultant

Your challenge
ttopstart consists of a team of creative, independent and highly ambitious professionals who combine knowledge of science with commercial skills. As a Junior Consultant, you will be part of small, diverse team consisting of consultants, business developers and programme managers. You will directly report to the team manager, who will be the first point of contact for day-to-day matters. With your knowledge in life sciences and interest for the subsidy landscape, you will learn how to make the connection with the many funding possibilities available. All comes down to your interest, knowledge creativity and communication skills in order to learn how to serve our clients optimally and guarantee funding for their projects.
Your day at ttopstart
A cup of coffee first of course!
Then you start the working day with a short energetic update with your small team of consultants.
You join your Senior colleague and help them prepare the framework for the consortium meeting later this week.
From them you receive a task to identify gaps and come up with a set of recommendations in order to increase our client’s chance of success.
You sit down with one of your team mates and assist in the development of market research, business cases and business plans.
You continue developing the impact section of an upcoming Horizon proposal and send it out for review. By posing the right questions you aim to solicit high-quality input from 10 partners.
At the end of the day, you have learned more about consultancy and have become more independently involved in the running projects.

What are you like?
You have completed Ms or PhD in Life Sciences and/or Health Sector.
You are driven by a desire to make an impact on the life sciences and health sector, and you are passionate about biomedical innovation.
You have an interest in the subsidy landscape.
You have a proactive attitude and can-do mentality.
You are a team player and get energy from connecting with others.
Comfortable with working towards deadlines.
Very good analytical and organisational skills combined with an open attitude and eagerness to learn.
