EIC Pathfinder calls for collaborative research and innovation actions that satisfy the EIC Pathfinder ‘gatekeepers’:
- Radical vision
- Breakthrough technological target
- Ambitious interdisciplinary research
Participants
Interdisciplinary consortium with academic institutes and high-tech SMEs.
About EIC Pathfinder
Although Europe is doing well internationally in terms of numbers of start-ups, too few of these succeed in scaling up and generating the high-skilled jobs that Europe’s future depends on. Therefore, the EU needs to help improve the conditions to enable the emergence and rapid scale-up of highly innovative enterprises. The European Innovation Council’s (EIC) Work Programme includes the EIC Pathfinder calls. This supports interdisciplinary collaborations to tap into Europe’s excellent science base for exploring radically new technologies that may become the game-changers of the future.
