About canSERV
To address the challenges posed by cancer and align with Europe’s Cancer Mission and Beating Cancer Plan, the EU-funded project canSERV offers over 400 innovative cancer research technologies to both European and non-European cancer researchers across all levels. These services, either individually or combined with training, can be requested to expedite groundbreaking discoveries and their application in clinical settings.
canSERV actively supports the development of tangible solutions for cancer by providing a comprehensive range of cutting-edge oncology technologies and top-notch training to cancer scientists.
canSERV Facilitates Researchers in Covering the Entire Spectrum of the Oncology Development Pipeline.
Inviting new applications
Building upon the success of the project’s initial Open Call for Service Provision, canSERV invites new applications spanning the entire oncology developmental pipeline. This encompasses supporting discoveries ranging from fundamental research to translational science and personalized oncology.
canSERV encourages high-quality research applications addressing at least one of the four strategic goals outlined in Europe’s Cancer Mission:
- Understanding Cancer
- Prevention and Early Detection
- Diagnosis and Treatment
- Quality of Life for Patients and Their Families
Researchers from academia, industry, and SMEs are eligible to apply for various services, including disease models, cutting-edge imaging and structural biology technologies, biomarker research and development, novel therapeutic solutions, complex clinical trial design and support, personalized oncology implementation pipelines and recommendations, and regulatory support along with tools to analyze the socioeconomic dimension of research activities.
Deadline of the call
The call opened yesterday, February 27, 2024.
The submission deadline is May 21, 2024, at 2 pm CEST.
Applications will be reviewed by an international, independent review panel.
The tentative budget for this inaugural call is 1.0 million Euros.
