    Funding and Budget

The project grants available under the EU4Health program vary depending on the specific call. Grant amounts range from 450,000 Euros to 8,000,000 Euros. The actual grant awarded will depend on the nature and scope of the proposed project.

It is important to note that the grants require co-financing, wherein the recipient is expected to contribute a portion of the total eligible costs of the action. The EU funding covers up to 60% of the total eligible costs, unless otherwise specified in the particular calls for proposals. In exceptional cases, where a project demonstrates significant value, the Union contribution may be increased to cover up to 80% of the total eligible costs.

    Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for action grants are outlined in the specific calls for proposals. Norwegian institutions are also eligible to apply, thereby encouraging cross-border collaboration and participation within the EU4Health program.

Prospective applicants should carefully review the calls for proposals to ensure they meet the essential eligibility requirements. It is worth noting that the EU4Health program has unique requirements distinct from those of Horizon Europe proposals. Therefore, it is crucial for applicants to thoroughly examine the support documents and conditions specific to the EU4Health program.
